Assist acquire North West based Rainford's Contracting Services

National support services business Assist Solutions Group (Assist)

has completed the acquisition of Rainford's Contracting Services Limited

(Rainford's) that will see the company further build on its landscaping, golf course and sports turf maintenance capabilities activities across the North West region.

 

Founded in 2002 Assist has become one of the most recognised providers across the UK specialising in environmental services, building cleaning, weed control and landscape maintenance. Assist provide solutions to a wide range of solutions to social housing, local authority, defence and private sector clients.

 

James McGrady, Operations Director of Assist explained:

“ This is a fantastic opportunity for Assist, the Rainford's brand is known and respected

across the UK for its high quality service and skilled employee base. The acquisition

gives us the opportunity to widen our customer base and work with some exciting new

customers.

The deal was orchestrated by the NW business advisory team at ThirtyFour Group who

identified the opportunity, structured and project managed the transaction.

 

Due diligence was provided by Mark Bringloe of Cowgill Holloway and Assist received

legal advice from Peter Bibby of AB Corporate who has previously advised on several

transactions for the Assist team.
